General

  Applied Ballistics LLC is a part-time ballistics consulting company founded in 2007 by owner Bryan Litz. Bryan has authored many articles for various shooting journals and magazines, sharing his ballistics knowledge  with the shooting community. In 2009, Bryan expanded his contributions by authoring and publishing his first book Applied Ballistics For Long Range Shooting. In just two years the Second edition went to print.

   Bryan earned his Aerospace Engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2002. For the next 6 years, he worked for the US Air Force on Air-to-air missile design, modeling and simulation. In November 2008, he became the Chief Ballistician for Berger Bullets.

  Applied Ballistics, LLC is a highly active consultant for modern ballistics applications.  We can provide ballistic solvers that are tailored for use in specific applications considering computational resources, cost, level of detail, etc.  See the products page for examples of projects that Applied Ballistics, LLC has consulted on.

 

Training

Competitions

Long Range Rifle Competition has always  been a passion for Bryan, and he's achieved much in this area.  Furthermore, Applied Ballistics, LLC is proud to sponsor the Michigan Junior shooting program with fundraising campaigns.  Thru December 25th of this year, $4 for every book sold will be donated to the Michigan Junior Shooting Program.

• Current member of the US Palma Team
• Current National Record Holder for the NRA iron sight midrange course (450-39X).
• Firing member of the Current National Record setting 4-man Palma Team
